Who We Are

SMTC Logistics (Pty) Ltd trades as TG Freight Forwarders and was established in the year 2009 as a meter taxi business. Due to our connection with our African routes, we saw the need to venture into cross-border logistics in the year 2013 with the company officially becoming duly registered within the Republic of South Africa in the year 2016. Having started with just 1 Hyundai Accent meter taxi we take pride in the strides the business has taken over the years to now owning a fleet of 8 different sized vehicles.

In line with our drive to ensure full compliance in our processes, all our vehicles are fully licensed within the Republic of South Africa. All the vehicles that we use for cross-border trips are registered with full permits from the C-BRTA.

Our mission is to deliver an excellent, efficient, cost-effective, and reliable experience to all our clientele within the South African and Sub-Saharan African markets. Our drive is in offering exceptional and above-par logistic solutions to the African market.
